Goodbye, 2018

This time last year, I wrote a post talking about what I had learned from 2017 and my goals for 2018. I thought it would be fun to look back and reflect on those goals and set some new ones for 2019! 2018 was a year for growing and learning in mind, body, and spirit.

I took up running this year, really pushing myself to go further distances. I LOVE the way it makes me feel and want to set a goal for myself in 2019: run a half marathon! Going to the gym is my way of relieving stress and I don't plan on switching that this upcoming year.

When it came to mind, I wanted to push myself to always continue to learn. Podcasts have been part of my daily routine for about 6 months now, and I am loving them! I listen to them as I am cleaning, on the airplane, or falling asleep. I also changed my major! Which, honestly, I never expected to do. I am now majoring in Public Relations, and I am beyond excited to see where it takes me.

Lastly, I am looking back on my goal for spirit. This one means a lot to me, as I said in my last year's post that I wanted to spend more time with family. 2018 surprised my family with some tough news, and it made me remember that we have to enjoy each other's company as often as possible. My family means the world to me and I cherish every moment we share together.
